Shortly before the Minister of Environment pays a visit to a climate research station in the Austrian Alps, 42-year-old Janek and his research colleagues are amazed when they discover a nearby glacier is leaking a red liquid, released by the melting ice due to climate change. The scientists scramble to solve the puzzle, but time is not on their side. The microbes that feed on this “glacier blood” have a devastating impact on the surrounding fauna. Janek soon has his hands full trying to defend himself and the station from a horde of mutants – and his heart threatens to break with the approaching minister’s entourage.
