Arthur Ahnepol lives a bleak existence. Unable to find a job since losing his right hand in a self-inflicted accident at work, Arthur is hen-pecked by his obnoxious wife Martha. When he spends the evening of his 50th birthday with a prostitute he can’t afford, her pimp turns up in his living room waving a pistol and demanding money – and is dead a short time later. With the help of Martha's twin sister, a policewoman, Arthur and his wife get rid of the body. But an unwritten law governing the life of Arthur states that every solved problem has a much worse result. The first episode of this 6-part mini-series can be seen at the ZFF. (In competition)
