An Ordinary Woman

Boris Khlebnikov|Drama

It seems like an ordinary façade: 39-year-old mother of two daughters, Marina, is running a flower store and is expecting a third child together with her husband Artem, a surgeon. While her eldest daughter is skipping college, the younger daughter hates her unborn sibling already – nothing new under the sun. However, the façade begins to crumble when Artem's young colleague, with whom he is having an affair, tells him that she is pregnant. Meanwhile, Marina is also leading a well-guarded double life: she is a pimp – and a pretty successful one at that. When she finds one of her girls dead in a hotel room, she must remain composed, get rid of body and remove all traces of the crime. ZFF is screening the pilot episode. (In competition)
