Àma Gloria

Six-year-old Cléo is heartbroken when she learns that her nanny, Gloria, has to travel back to Cape Verde. The girl, hidden under a tangle of hair and thick glasses, lives with her father in Paris, but spends most of her time with Gloria. Because parting is extremely difficult for both, Gloria decides to invite Cléo to visit her during the summer vacations. AMA GLORIA gives its audience the opportunity to see the world from the perspective of a little child with a big heart. The touching drama juxtaposes two worlds: The Western one, where parents have enough money but too little time for their children. And that of Cape Verde, where parents have plenty of time, but too little money to offer their children a perspective.
