Ex-con Billy Moore and pastor’s son Marshall Hatch Jr. have made it their mission to prevent young men from becoming the next perpetrator or victim statistic. The mentors’ support groups are a haven and inspire a vision of a better future. Directing duo Bing Lui and Joshua Altman successfully created an intimate insight into the everyday lives of two generations plagued by deep trauma. These men’s honest and vulnerable sides shine through, as they talk about their fears, dreams and their desire for forgiveness.
