All the Sins / Kaikki synnit

While in the midst of a relationship crisis with his life partner, detective Lauri is sent to his ultra-conservative home village of Varjaka in northern Finland in order to investigate. Two influential men from the deeply religious Laestadian community have been executed. He is accompanied by the experienced officer Sanna, who, unlike her younger colleague, takes life a little easier. As the investigation begins, Lauri is faced with a past that he turned his back on years ago – and with good reason. The crime series ALL THE SINS’s multifaceted characters lead us into the abysses of the Finnish periphery. ZFF shows the first two episodes of the six-part Gothenburg Film Festival-winning miniseries.
