The two women, Angie and Pat, have been living together in Pat's flat in Hong Kong for 30 years. Their relationship is accepted by those around them – in fact, everyone likes them. However, when Pat unexpectedly passes away one night, Angie's world is turned upside down. Suddenly, she faces the threat of losing Pat's flat, which, after all, has become her home too. At the same time, she encounters unexpected opposition from her own family. This touching drama, with its observant camera work, gently tells the story of a brave woman’s late-stage emancipation as she stands up for her rights.
