The government of Bhutan regularly measures the happiness of its population by sending agents into the Himalayan region. These agents visit even the most remote homes, asking the residents how they are feeling. In this wonderful documentary, we follow happiness agent Amber, who sets off on a mission - also in the hope of finding happiness himself. The film gives an insight into the culture of this fascinating country and features breathtakingly beautiful landscapes. 'AGENT OF HAPPINESS takes us on an impressive journey through Bhutan's world of measuring happiness. A meditative delight that offers subtle insights into the pursuit of inner prosperity.' – Daniela Engler
