by Virág Zomborácz
His father Janos knows everything: how to drive, how to cure junkies, how to keep together the family as well as the church community. When Janos suddenly dies, his awkward yet sympathetic son Mózes feels compelled to finally take his life into his own hands. A helping hand he finds in his overburdened family, a psychiatrist, a pendulum, the (in)consequentially abstinent beauty Angela and, above of all, his father’s ghost, which, however, remains silent. It up to Mózes now to discover a way of setting himself as well as the ghost free … Delightfully absurd humour and a number of wonderful ideas characterize director Virág Zomborácz’s debut, which finds the perfect balance between classical drama, magical realism and black humour.
