A star lawyer (Kad Merad) is in a relationship with a successful actress (Elza Zylberstein) and leads a privileged life. However, when he learns that he has a neurological disorder that makes it impossible for him to lie, his life is turned upside down. He embarks on a road trip to the provinces, where conversations with old friends lead him to reflect on the story of his life.
