ZFF Master Class
This intimate and intensive five-day workshop allows creative individuals to connect with each other, exchange ideas and working methods with renowned personalities from the film industry and to explore the Zurich Film Festival. The ZFF Master Class is not open to the general public.
Production Funding
The Association for Film Funding in Switzerland collaborates with IWC Schaffhausen to provide CHF 100’000 of funding for films in the production or post-production phase.
Treatment Award
The ZFF collaborates with Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (SRF) and Telepool to offer prizes totalling CHF 30'000 to the best treatment.
Application Film Music Competition
The competition requires entrants to compose a brand new score for a short film of about 5 minutes. The film is selected in advance by the organisers and made available for download. Five finalists will be invited to Zurich for the premiere of their compositions. These are performed live in front of a public audience by the renowned Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich.
