ZFF Day by Day / 8

03. October 2013

FILTH is this year’s most anticipated ZFF programme title and James McAvoy will join us on the Green Carpet today for its premiere screening. Get your photographs and autographs in front of the corso cinema starting 19:30. Further top-class Gala Premieres include THE SPECTRACULAR NOW from James Ponsoldt (18:30, corso 1) and EXIT MARRAKESCH  from Caroline Link.

We have two world premieres in the international competition section today: Eric Bergkraut’s latest film SERVICE INBEGRIFFE (20:00, corso 2) and the portrait film of reggae poets Gentleman and Alborosie JOURNEY TO JAH (Arena 4, 18.45h). And who knows – perhaps the duo will prove their musical prowess after the screening...

The “Border Lines” section offers a disturbing film about the fight for the humane distribution of AIDS medication in FIRE IN THE BLOOD, while GOD LOVES UGANDA gives us an insight into the missionary activities of America’s free churches in Uganda.

Numerous repeats of all competition entries enables you to catch up on the films you’ve missed and see the secret favourites before the Award Night on Saturday evening.
