All Eyes Off Me

Danny searches for Max at a party to tell him about her unplanned pregnancy. Max, however, is with his girlfriend Avishag, giving in to her sexual fantasies. Feeling bruised, Avishag visits her elderly neighbour Dror and a surprising familiarity develops between the two. Director Hadas Ben Aroya’s generational picture of young Israelis who pretend to be open and unattached, but actually long only for closeness is reflected in three loosely linked chapters. Atmospheric images depict their exploration of vulnerability, physicality, sex and intimacy.
