Birdman
One-time star actor Riggan Thomson, famous for his portrayal of the iconic superhero Birdman, has hit upon hard times; both his financial life and personal life are in turmoil. He plans his big comeback directing and acting in the Broadway adaptation of What We Talk About When We Talk About Love. His daughter, who has recently been discharged from a heart clinic, takes on the role of her father’s manager. Things go from bad to worse in the days leading up to the opening night, when it turns out Riggan’s leading actor is a neurotic and arrogant egomaniac… Alejandro González Iñárritu treats us to this comic-inspired fifth feature film, starring former BATMAN actor Michael Keaton, through the world of superhero mania.
