A series of cold-blooded murders keeps Hong Kong on tenterhooks. To investigate the cases, the police forms a task force comprising their best detectives. Meanwhile, ex-cop Jun, once dishonourably discharged from the police, conducts his own investigations. Gradually, he gets on the trail of a gang of brutal killers who call themselves "The Chosen Sleuths." When Jun and the police realise that the murder victims are suspects from unsolved cases, a race against time begins.
