H is for Happiness Programme 2020

by John Sheedy ZFF for Kids

12-year-old Candice is the only one in her family full of optimism and joy of life. Since her younger sister died, Candice’s mother barely leaves the bedroom and her father hides behind a mountain of work. Equipped with boundless imagination, Candice makes it her mission to keep the broken family together and bring joy back into the lives of her grieving parents. She is supported in the task by her classmate Douglas, who is convinced that he has fallen into this world from another dimension. Based on Barry Jonsberg’s children’s book ‘My Life as an Alphabet’, H IS FOR HAPPINESS embarks on a journey into a colourful, fairy-tale world and charmingly tells about family and the beauty of life.
