When he first comes into contact with humans, he must learn that they can be even more dangerous than blatant survival in the cold wilderness of the far north. This touching adventure film skilfully combines stunningly picturesque aesthetics with advanced motion-capture technology. Academy Award-winner Alexandre Espigares has crafted animations of these creatures with remarkable realism while managing to maintain their unique personalities.
