The teacher’s lounge - a place shrouded in mystery and a welcome retreat for that very special breed of people. The tragicomic TV series DIE LEHRER sheds a light on what actually goes on in the teacher’s lounge. Centring on the absurdities of everyday life in the teaching profession, it asks major existential questions such as why the coffee machine is always broken and who ordered new chemicals for the chemistry lab without asking, and how is it even possible that certain pupils still believe that Zinedine Zidane lost his head during the French revolution? ZFF is screening the first episode of the first season of the eight-part Swiss sitcom, which will air on MyPrime (UPC) soon.
