Strange, almost inexplicable incidents are all part of daily life in the isolated mountainous border region between Poland and Ukraine. The life of the border guards stationed here is overshadowed one day by a mysterious bomb attack. Captain Viktor Rebrow is the only survivor. He has not only lost his friends, but also the one he loved. When the district prosecutor refuses to collaborate, the now distraught and lonely Rebrow must use his own initiative to discover who is responsible for the bombing... The storytelling in HBO’s first ever Polish series is similar to Scandinavian noir. ZFF presents all six episodes of this mini-series.
