Nick Tortano has been involved in Boston’s criminal circles since boyhood. The eldest son of Italian immigrants experiences nothing but rejection from his father. This encourages him to seek out and find a ‘better’ family in the mafia. The ambitious young gangster quickly works his way up and secures his position within the clan, but soon finds out that the organization’s reputation does not do it justice. When Nick tries to take things into his own hands, he not only puts himself in danger, but also his entire environment.
