Film Submission
Submissions for this year's 9th Zurich Film Festival are now being accepted for Competition and/or ZFF Filmboutique until June 30, 2013.
THE COMPETITION: Submission Information
There are 4 competition sections:
• International Feature Film Competition
• International Documentary Film Competition
• German Language Feature Film Competition (Productions from CH, DE, AT)
• German Language Documentary Film Competition (Productions from CH, DE, AT)
A Golden Eye endowed with a 20 000 CHF cash prize will be awarded in each category by a separate international jury (total worth over USD 100'000 in cash). The CHF 20,000 cash endowment is to be shared equally between director and producer. Winning films further profit from P&A contribution for a theatrical release in Switzerland.
All films participating in a competition must fulfill the following criteria:
• Director’s 1st, 2nd or 3rd feature-length film (> 60 min)
• Production not older than one year
• A premiere in the German-speaking terrirtory (Switzerland, Germany, Austria) is minimum status requirement
ZFF FILMBOUTIQUE: Submission Information
All the productions from the German speaking territory are invited to submit for ZFF FILMBOUTIQUE, an industry platform for German-language feature and documentary film. Find more information by clicking here.
All films participating at ZFF FILMBOUTIQUE must fulfill the following criteria
• Feature-length film project (> 60 min)
• Production (majoritarian) from the German speaking territoty (Switzerland, Germany, Austria)
• Production not older than one year
Submission for ZFF FILMBOUTIQUE is not dependant on a submission for competition. Every film project submitted to the German Language Feature Film and German Language Documentary Film Competition is invited to be considered for ZFF Filmboutique.

Submission fee per film for competition and/or ZFF Filmboutique
• Early Bird until March 31: 50 Euros
• From April 1 - June 30: 75 Euros
