The International Competition section sees the premiere screenings of the Rumanian relationship drama ONE MONTH IN THAILAND (16:30, Le Paris), the Chinese competition entry SONG OF SILENCE (corso 4, 20:45) and the American festival hit BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD (Le Paris, 21:00). EL BELLA VISTA from Uruguay also steps up to the mark in the Documentary Film Competition section at 18:45 in corso 4.

There’s also the chance to see great cinema from the German-speaking world: Daniel Young’s film PAUL BOWLES: THE CAGE DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN (18:45, Le Paris) celebrates its world premiere screening, and DER PROZESS also enter the competition race.
